How I work

I go to the restaurant.
Not just the meeting room.

Operations first

I spend time with the people who'll actually use the system before I recommend anything. If the ops team don't buy in, the project fails — regardless of what the board signed off.

I call it how I see it

If something isn't going to work, I'll say so — to you, to the vendor, to the steering group. I'd rather have an uncomfortable conversation now than an expensive one in six months.

Outcomes, not outputs

I don't deliver systems. I deliver systems that people use, that solve the real problem, and that don't need me to stick around to keep them running.
